Happy Thanksgiving! We here at Austin Steam It are most thankful for our family, friends, and our clients. We hope you have had a wonderful year and are spending the holidays with the ones you love.
You probably have family and friends gathering at your home soon and they are going to be hungry. You will probably have a big feast on Thursday. But, then what do you do with all of the leftovers? It’s an age-old question. No one wants the dried out, leftover turkey the day after Thanksgiving. So, I have some ideas for you…
Let’s Move Past The Standard Turkey Tetrazzini!
Look, don’t get me wrong…I like a great leftover turkey tetrazzini as much as the next guy. But, let’s get creative! I’ve pinned some fantastic looking recipes on Pinterest onto my “Fall Recipes” board. Check them out by clicking here. And, while you’re there, please don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest. I’m always adding new things. You can follow me by clicking here.
I’ve pinned some recipes you may want to try like:
- Leftover Turkey Dinner Hand Pies – they are little turkey dinners all in a small hand-held pie!
- Turkey Cranberry Strudel – it almost looks too pretty to eat!
- Hot Turkey Slow Cooker Sandwiches – these would be great to have cooking in your slow cooker while you shop all day on Black Friday!
I also pinned a wonderful tip for keeping your turkey leftovers moist when you reheat it. It involves lettuce! Be sure and check it out. I’ve never tried this tip…but I intend to try it this year.
At Austin Steam It We Are Thankful For You!
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I hope it is filled with family, friends, and feasting. And, when that feasting is over…I hope you will enjoy your leftovers too.
We at Austin Steam It are most thankful for our friends, family, and clients. Our clients allow us to come into their homes and help make them even more inviting and sparkling. We don’t take that opportunity and trust lightly and we truly appreciate it. I can’t think of a better time of year than now to say to each and every one of you…Thank you!
